BESPOKE CELEBRANCY SERVICES
Congratulations on your decision to get married! By now, you are probably
spending the better part of each day planning everything about your big
day – location, wedding invitations, reception. A wedding is a unique
moment in our life and I always consider it an honor, besides excitement
and pleasure, to partake in it as your Wedding Celebrant.
Just like your partnership, your wedding should be unique to you as a
couple.
My “task” as a Celebrant is to create for you a ceremony to remember,
tailoring everything to your own speci1cations by drawing upon a number
of themes and concepts.
Ideally, I will meet with you, get to know you and start to plan your
ceremony from scratch. If you live outside of the country you wish the
Ceremony to be held, I will arrange a Skype call with you, as it’s the
second best way to meet. During our 1st meeting we will have the
opportunity to get acquainted and talk about your dream ceremony
(where, how, who else will also be involved, rites, vows, etc.). I believe it’s
really important for you to get a good, thorough understanding of who is
going to stand in front of your loved ones and talk about your journey to
marriage together.
At the end of our Skype call I will ask both of you to write, separately,
some things about yourselves, how you met and fell in love, your wishes
for the future, special memories you have from each other and together, a
funny story, a favorite song, music, 1lm (not necessarily all of them). All
these will allow me to get to know you better and weave touches into the
ceremony that will truly make it unique, personalized and tailor-made.:
Upon reception of the aforementioned information, having passed the
baton to me as to how you’d like the ceremony to be sculpted, the tone,
the important bits of content etc., I will prepare, within a reasonable time,
a draft – step by step – script, which I will e-mail to you for remarks,
additions and consultation.
There is no set number of times a couple will be in contact with me
throughout the process. It depends on how soon we will have our 1nal
script approved.
After its approval, the 1nal ceremony script is communicated to the
wedding planner for the necessary ceremonial arrangements.
A few days before the wedding a meeting (in person or via Skype) with the
couple is deemed necessary to make sure that we all are on the same
page.
No rehearsal is needed. However, if deemed necessary by the couple or
planner, this may apply against an extra fee.
On the wedding day my main task is to make you and your guests feel at
ease, and smoothly deliver the ceremony by guiding you, and everybody
else involved, throughout.
